Psychology 2.0 is a wiki.
- “wiki” means an internet site where most of the published content is editable by the community of users. The well-known Wikipedia site is also a wiki.
- a wiki is designed with the belief that, if people combine their information on a specific topic, it will be both closer to the truth and more detailed than if a sole specialist had presented the same information
- a wiki has two major functions:
- displaying the article (see 'View' tab in the top right corner); and
- making it editable (see 'Edit' tab in the top right corner)
- further features:
- tracking which user has contributed what comment or elucidation to a specific article (see 'History' tab on the top right corner);
- collecting the articles in different groups; and
- comment boxes, chat forums
